Grief 4v4 Championship - 2014/02/28 (by Manouchkov71)

First topic message reminder :

• Town, Magic, Round 20, No PaP, 3 Winning games, 24 Teams, International
  
• No Abusive Camping  in the corners (more than 5 secs). Blocking Jug forbidden in the start of the game.
  
• Change the connection after each games. If there are 2-2, the connection of the 5th game (last game) is for the quickest winner team (sum of the duration from the games won). If there are 2-0, the connection of the 3th game is automatically for the loosing team.
  
• Start the 28th February until the 15th April. This is a championship during ~45 days, there are no eliminatories matches like the tournaments.
  
• The are 23 matchs to play, and we must play only 1 match /2days (there will be maybe return matches but it's not sure).
  
• The teams will must absolutly respect the calendar to play their matches. All the teams will must fight together. In the beginning of the championship, all the teams are the same position in a ranking with any point. We win 4 points after a victory and only 1 point after a defeat. When all the matches will be played, the first team will be Champion !
  
• This is really advisable to use the board instead of the PSN messsages to contact the other teams and to program your matches. It will be a proof if some teams don't respect the appointments.

Dans le début du championnat , toutes les équipes sont dans la même position dans le classement. Nous gagnons 4 points après une victoire et 1 point seulement après une défaite. Lorsque tous les matches seront joués, la première équipe sera champion !
  
• Il est vraiment conseillé d'utiliser le forum à la place des messages PSN pour contacter les autres équipes et programmer vos matchs . Ce sera une preuve si certaines équipes ne respectent pas les rendez-vous.

• Los equipos deben absolutamente respetar el horario para jugar sus juegos . Todos los equipos deben luchar juntos . En el campeonato , todos los equipos están en la misma posición en el ranking. Ganamos 4 puntos después de una victoria y 1 punto después de una derrota . Cuando todos los partidos que se jugarán en el primer equipo será el campeón !
  
• Realmente es recomendable utilizar el foro en lugar de mensajes de PSN para contactar con otros equipos y programar sus partidos . Esta será una prueba de si algunos equipos no se ajustan a la cita.

The time schedule is just stupid. Why can't we just play any game any time we want. No, it has to be Match #13 between 2nd and 4th April (for example). Why not just all the games done till the 15th of April or something like that.
A grief league isn't also very good, when it has a limited time like that.
If there is a grief league it just should be like a league on MLG. The league is open for, let's say, 6 months and you can play as many matches as you want against any team.

Manouchkov and me would like to play a real championship, and in the reality, in all the sports, we have a calendar to respect and a ranking after each days. We have extented the deadlines to 24h, 48h, then 72h and all the meeting was available before the start for a better flexibility. You have 2 subs in your team and 3 days to play each match, it's too difficult?

If there are no calendar, all the teams play anytime and wait on the others to start the match or reject for later. And with 24 teams, if there are no short deadlines, we can easily wait 5 months. This system was a total failure for the French Championship organized by Auberlu & Pikpix, started the January and never finished today.

Also, all the board was open for the ideas and suggestion before the start. There are a special section for the ideas. Why you don't suggest me this point before the start but 7 days after?

The real problem is that there are not many serious teams or really available for a long tournament. They wait the last moment to play and to program a match rather than to program it with many advance (~10 days). For exemple, we have created a calendar with all the appointements for my team. Some teams prefer to declare forfeit after some defeats rather to continue if they cannot finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
