Infinite Tourney #3 - 2015/05/15 - Cell Block

First topic message reminder :



CELL BLOCK:

1. No box, no PAP, Round 15 no magic without headshots.
2. You can only buy wall guns (MP5, B23R, Uzi, Olympia, M14 +
CLAYMORES)
3. Don´t block the cells when begin the game. All players can buy mp5
without problems.
4. EXCESIVE CAMPING is prohibited:
- more than 5 seconds in corners
- more than 10 seconds doors or cells
- more than 1 minute in a area with no players=speed cola area, double top
area/ PAP area, PhD Flopper area...
- You can not shoot your opponents when you´re in a corner.
5. If there are only 1 player alive must to finish the round to win the game.
If there are more than one player alive (2,3 or 4 players) the host must finish the game.
​6. If a player gets TIME OUT just at the start of the game (1m max) the
game restart.
7. Each player will have opportunity of hosting once per game.
8. If the game is 2-2 the fastest wining player will host the last game.
9. Lobby most be closed before the game start.
10.. No lags sw, glitch (PAP), rage quit, permant perks or hack mods in tournaments. A cause for forteit.

FRIDAY 18H the REGISTRATION closing .
FRIDAY 18H30 the ROUND ROBIN begins and finish 02H00 .
SATURDAY 16H the DOUBLE BRACKET starts and finish 00H00 .
SUNDAY 16H the FINAL BRACKET starts and finish 23H00 .

Round Robin is Best Of 5 .
Double Bracket is Best Of 5 .
Final Bracket is Best Of 7 .

well that's not my fault, you're the host of the tournament & you should take responsibility to make the right decisions which i believe you cannot. Players in the team 'Serial Killers' blocked the door for 11seconds & shot in corner last time & yoplixboy gave them the benefit of the doubt even when we did nothing wrong. This cost us the game and we lost but we didnt complain.

This is where 'bias' decisions come in & potentially ruin the tournament, depending on who the host is.

I personally believe infinite can't host tournaments as he doesn't have the 'capability' due to his age.

The age doesn't say everything. I've already seen many players older than some and really less mature and smart... In the past, I've already left young players to manage and host tournaments like ZombieSlay or SuShi -_-Son (~15 ans), and the result was good. I think the first criterias is the fact to be mature, motivated, to be available (time) and able to talk with the others (English). These friendly tourneys are the occasion to check if the host is able to host alone or not.

Secondly, my team (Skeptic/Disrupt) have played before against Serial Killers on cell block, they have shot us in the corner many times and we didn't get a rematch which was pretty silly.. I personally believe some rules aren't being respected and the host of the tournaments are giving the benefit of the doubt to the team that they 'like' which is bias..

The teams/player are in their right to use the regulation to ask to restart a game if a rule is not restarted. I think also this "shooting corners rule" is abusive, but all the teams/players are able to talk about the regulation before the start of the tournament if they think that some rules are not fair. There had no doubt in the action, even if it was really a short time (1/2s). Why claim a team who ask to use the regulation also used by CabronesGrief? The captain needs also to check if his teammates know the full regulation, and it was not always the case, for saClue at the beggining (doors blocked 15 secs). It's why the 2nd game was restarted.
But it's true, the host need to be the more neutral possible. It's why I asked Infinite to stop to play with me and to restart the match, because he had already used his 6 players in this tourney. He had done a confusion with the Croniks tourney. I'm never far to check and oversee the management.

Also, infinite, you cannot just forfeit a team which was beating you 4-1 just because they shot in the corner, also however, if they did shoot in the corner there should be a cause for a rematch..

I think the forfeit was also because of the behavior from your team, specially from one their teammate (signo03), with some French insults (fils de pute) when I was in the lobby at the begining (I have the recording). The last game will be played in the week.

It is lag on your  but i.think u will have more advantage on couch host bucas inco team all have 4bars on couch host its everbody 4bar on couch host on inco s team host so lag everbody can win but dats oke ithink
The fair ist is to play 3-1 it was couchs host and then BO9 bucas what couch sayd it should be 2-1, dats a little cheap bucas one game and it cloud be 2-2  dat will be a littel cheap its upp to yoplixs

It should remain BO7, just because your team is losing infinite you want to increase the matches to try & give your team more chances of winning which is what i exactly meant before, that the host of the tournament effects the games being played. For the previous tournaments you hosted, in the finals were BO7 ( Town & Farm ), so therefore changing the BO7 to BO9 will also affect the points in the ranking system by a few extra points which is unfair i believe.
